| Kid’s Day at the Lee Co. Fair Kid’s Day will be held on Thursday July 8th from 1 – 5 pm at the Lee Co. Fairgrounds in Donnellson, Iowa. There will be a number of extra exhibitors at the fair on this day featuring demonstrations, displays and giveaways for children of all ages. The event is sponsored by the Keokuk Area Hospital and Fort Madison Community Hospital. Lee County Sheep Producers Watch a live demonstration of Sheep being Sheered. Take home a piece of wool. Tentative- Watch wool being spun Fire Trucks Check out the array of Fire Trucks. Try on a real firefighter's jacket and boots! Fort Madison will have the ladder truck. Montrose will bring the Antique Fire Truck.. Donnellson will bring the Water Truck. Air Evac Helicopter Come watch the Air Evac Team land a helicopter at the Fair Grounds and then take a look inside! Visit with the pilot and crew members too. Cartoon Drawings by Herb Davison Herb was a delight to all the kids last year. He can draw upside down and takes time with each child drawing and explaining as he goes along. He is amazing to watch.
