| Scholarship Notice Letter The Lee County Fair Board will award several $500 scholarships this spring. Scholarship winners will be announced during your school's spring awards program if your school has a recipient. The below information is for qualifying 2011 seniors. You may print this off or copies of the Lee County Fair Scholarship to 2011 are available through your school guidance counselor's office. Requirements for receiving the scholarship include: 1. Must live in Lee County. 2. Must have at least a 2.0 grade point average. 3. Plan to attend college (two or four years) or vocational school. 4. Any 2011 high school graduate may apply. 5. Must have some type of involvement in the Lee County Fair. If additional copies are needed, please feel free to copy the scholarship letter and application to distribute. This scholarship information is also available online at www.leecountyfairiowa.com . Please note the deadline for the application is March 31, 2011 and must be mailed to the Lee County Fair Board, P.O. Box 179, Donnellson, IA 52625. Lee County Fair Scholarship Award
To: Scholarship Applicant
The Lee County Fair Board will award several $500 scholarships to deserving individuals from Lee
County.
Eligibility requirements for this award are:
1. Must live in Lee County.
2. Must have at least a 2.0 grade point average.
3. Plan to attend college (two or four years) or vocational school.
4. 2011 high school graduate.
5. Must have some type of involvement in the Lee County Fair.
Application must include:
1. A completed Application Form (computer generated or printed neatly).
2. This application is to be completed by the individual applying for the scholarship.
3. One letter of reference. The letter should be from any non-relative adult such as a teacher,
counselor, employer, friend, or community member.
4. An official high school transcript.
5. Additional pages may be attached to answer questions more completely. Please limit the
number of additional pages to five.
Applications are available from the local high school guidance offices, at the Lee County Extension
Office or online at www.leecountyfairiowa.com . Scholarship winners will be announced at individual
schools during their spring award programs.
Completed applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2011 to:

Applications must be mailed to the above address. Applications delivered any other manner will not
be considered.
